Our engineers will calculate the spindle support requirements for both new and retrofit applications.
CHILLERS
GMN chillers ensure precisely adjustable temperature and quantity delivery of the cooling medium and achieves consistently low operating temperatures. High-precision control accuracy reduces axial shaft misalignment, caused by temperature fluctuations in the coolant.
IDEA-4S
The intelligent solution IDEA-4S (Integrated Data Evaluation and Acquisition for Spindles) with IO-Link interface is an electronic system developed by GMN and integrated into spindles for acquiring and evaluating data.

LUBRICATORS
PRELUB is an electronically controlled lubrication unit that takes up very little space. Adapted to the oil-air lubricated GMN spindles, this unit guarantees a long service life. The precise and secure controllable lubricant dosing ensures effective bearing lubrication throughout the start and shut-down phases. With a maximum of 4 connections, the lubrication unit offers the ability to run two spindles. It has the ability to connect to personal or commercial computers and provides an operation overview with a multi-language menu structure.

CABLE ASSEMBLIES AND CONNECTORS
GMN supplies towed chain UL and CSA-approved electrical cables for the electrical spindle-to-inverter connection. The appropriate EMC rules and guidelines must be adhered to in layout and commissioning. On request, preassembled cables with B048-, B049-, GA-, MAC-, D500- and STK plugs are available.
QUILLS
GMN manufacturers grinding quills with high roundness and flatness precision for nearly all provided GMN standard interfaces.

- Special designs are available upon request
- GMN semi-finished products allow the customization of the tool interface for any connections.
DRIVES
GMN High-frequency spindles are operated using inverters in an open or closed loop circuit. GMN offers three different types of drive systems:
- Open loop drives for asynchronous motors
- Open loop drives for synchronous motors
- Closed loop drives with encoder feedback (normally used in automatic tool change applications)
